you want to make MANY sales that will lead to
a long-term income.
What? Is that heading correct? I thought that is exactly what my efforts in Internet Marketing are for – Making Money?
There are many types of Internet Marketer online today but I guarantee the most successful do not start out with the thought…
“Ok, what can I do to make lots of money”?
Some may advise you and I to take this approach – think of some way to make ‘$1,000.00 in 30 days’ – or whatever - but they themselves think longer-term.
So whatever you do, whatever online business you are in - Realize that Marketing and Selling is NOT primarily about making Money!!! - It is about making relationships.
The money comes later!
Anyone can sell a product with enough hype and exaggeration and shady psychological sales techniques....ONCE! But that is not real marketing - it is just making a fast buck!
If you really want to be successful with your Marketing efforts you have to think that you don’t want to make A sale, to make a fast buck…you want to make MANY sales that will lead to a long-term income.
You should use your Marketing Techniques to offer value and support and a 'product' that you KNOW works or is useful. You need to build relationships and trust to ensure your future long-term success.
Marketers who think further than how to make money will still be in business long after the 'fast-buck' merchants have come and gone.
Of course the Internet is a Gold mine for Home Business Opportunities - and it is true that many ordinary people are able to give up their jobs and live a great life-style however most ordinary people, unfortunately, fail to make money online.
They are continually feed on the HYPE that promises ‘easy wealth’ and how to ‘Make Money’ techniques…no wonder there is a 95% (or whatever) failure rate!
Let me tell you now whatever business model you chose for your Internet business the ONLY way to make a long-term online income is by building relationships and becoming somebody who people can trust.
You will not do this if your first thought for your Marketing campaign is
‘What can I do to make money?’
In finishing I am going to actually contradict myself and tell you – Yes, you CAN be (VERY) successful with ‘who cares - all I want to do is make money’ marketing techniques. The Internet is sickeningly flooded with low-life scam-artists and conmen who’s only thought is to part you (and me) from our money – and there is ALWAYS another sucker around the corner…
And if that is what you want in life – money - with no further thought or conscience I guess the Internet is a great place for you.
However as an honest person whose integrity is far more important than wealth this article is aimed at still the majority (thank goodness) of us like-minded honest people.
Good luck with your Internet business ventures, whatever they are, but let us ALL remember that – yes, wealth IS desirable and yes, it IS possible – but whatever the ‘self-improvement’ and ‘positive mindset’ gurus preach about wealth is a right for everyone - it should NOT be achieved at the expense or exploitation of other people. (Which is usually illegal anyway?)
Wealth building should be a ‘Team Sport’ where many people benefit.
